Saginaw

Rode again today on a paved bike trail for about 30 miles of a total of about 60. Saw some LIVE critters and got photo of where 4 turtles had been sunning(on a floating log) and saw 3 different groups of wild turkeys (1 photo) and saw a LIVE garter snake on the paved path but he disappeared b4 I could get a photo. Dow chemical got it's start in Saginaw by drilling wells into underground salts and pumping water down and sucking the water back up and removing the bromine from the salt brine. Photo of one of the early drilling rigs for salt. Photo of bike with new flag which lasted most of today (flags r tough to keep alive?).
